SONNENBLICK-GOLDMAN COMPANY ARRANGES $165,000,000 REFINANCING OF ONE STATE STREET PLAZA
 
Thursday, June 22, 2000 - New York, NY - Sonnenblick-Goldman Company has arranged a $165,000,000 permanent mortgage to refinance One State Street Plaza, located on the southern tip of lower Manhattan.

One State Street Plaza has commanding vistas of New York Harbor, including a spectacular view of the Statue of Liberty. The building boasts the main offices of IBJ Whitehall Financial Group, Fitch IBCA, AMBAC and Thomson Financial Networks, all of which are under long-term leases. One State Street Plaza, a 35-story, 840,000 sf Class A office building completed in 1970, is bounded by State Street on the south and west, Whitehall Street on the east and Pearl Street on the north. William Stern, Managing Director of Sonnenblick-Goldman Company, advisor to the owner, South Ferry Building Company, said "the quality of the ownership and property was highly attractive to the institutional lending community".
