Jeannette M. Boccini has been named Director of Corporate Communications at Sonnenblick-Goldman Company, the premier real estate investment banking firm in Manhattan. In this position, Ms. Boccini will be responsible for all corporate communications and marketing, as well as public relations activities for the firm's seven, global offices.
In announcing the new appointment, Steven Kohn, President of Sonnenblick-Goldman Company, said, "Jeannette's dynamic personality, combined with her superior communications skills and real estate background, serve as a perfect complement to Sonnenblick-Goldman. A communications expert with over a dozen years of experience, most recently Ms. Boccini served as Director of Communications at Douglas Elliman, where she handled all public relations activities for the firm's New York and suburban, residential real estate offices. Previously, she served as Vice President at The Krantz Group, Inc., a public relations firm where she designed, developed and implemented on-going, proactive programs and strategies for public, private and not-for-profit companies and institutions. In addition, she served as an English educator on both the college and high school levels, worked at Genova Hartwick Juliano, a private advertising agency, and consulted on a variety of writing projects.
Ms. Boccini is a Board Member of The Lupus Foundation of America, Hudson Valley Chapter and an active member of the National Association of Female Executives and New York Women in Communications. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Pace University with a B.A. in Literature/Communications and earned an M.A. in English Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. |
