SONNENBLICK-GOLDMAN COMPANY ARRANGES FINANCING FOR HBO BUILDING AT 1100 AVENUE OF THE AMERICAS, NEW YORK, NEW YORK
 
Thursday, September 30, 1999 - New York, NY - Sonnenblick-Goldman Company, acting as the exclusive financial advisor to 1100 Avenue of the Americas Associates (of which William Nickerson is a principal), has arranged a $63 million first mortgage financing for the HBO Building, 1100 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY.

Located at 42nd Street across from Bryant Park and adjacent to the Grace Building, the HBO Building contains 360,000 square feet of space and 16 stories. Owned by the Nickerson family since the early 1900's, the building was completely gutted in 1980 when it become the headquarters for Home Box Office (HBO), a division of Time Warner Entertainment L.P. Time Warner recently extended its lease on the building through 2018. In addition to HBO, over 10,000 square feet of the ground floor is leased to retail stores including Starbucks, Radio Shack, General Nutrition, Hale & Hearty Soups and New Balance.
